Creates a tonic bath for scleractinian corals maintained in recirculating systems with known presence of coralivorous invertebrates. Not a biocide or medication; no residue. 100% USA-sourced components. Proven success with >75,000 corals maintained in commercial coral farms.
WARNING: Read instructions in entirety prior to use. Not for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized persons. Components may irritate respiratory tract, skin, and membranes, therefore personal protective equipment must be worn when handling contents of this container. Keep container tightly-sealed, as this material is hygroscopic and will absorb atmospheric moisture. Do not permit contamination. Do not intentionally expose other groups of invertebrates or fishes to solution prepared with contents of this package.
Preparation: Per 1 gallon solution to be made, mix 23 grams Anticip8 with adequate system water in a clean vessel to create solution of desired total volume. Do not mix with tap water or purified water. Ensure that Anticip8 components are entirely dissolved in the water prior to use (a clean submersible water pump aids in this process). Do not dispense container contents or solution into system. Use solution within 24-hours of preparation. Store solution securely (tightly-sealed) when not in use.
Application: Best results are obtained when solution is gently circulating in application vessel; a small submersible water pump achieves this. An application vessel should be chosen which enables User to observe impact of solution on cohort specimen(s); a tray which permits specimen(s) to be completely submerged in the solution is ideal for this purpose. Transfer solution from mixing vessel into clean application vessel. Monitor specimen(s) for signs of distress during solution exposure, and remove them from solution if distress is noticed. Ensure that temperature of solution remains within 1F of system temperature. Use solution repeatedly with mutlipe cohort specimens for up to 6 hours, then discard. Place SPS, MPS, and/or LPS cnidarian cohort specimen(s) into solution for up to 15 minutes (7 minutes for Euphyllia sp.; set an alarm to ensure that applicable time limit is not exceeded), observing specimen(s) and removing when solution appears to have had desired impact or when 7 or 15 minutes elapses, whichever comes first. Rinse specimen(s) in a separate bath of system water for 5 minutes before placing them back into system. Repeat weekly if desired.
Ingredient Statement: Proprietary organic compounds. Contains no medications or biocides.
